AGC is awarded for a consecutive year at the CES Innovation Awards®, this time, for its innovative solution for HUD, the Reflective Blade. Recognized as Honoree, in the 2026 selection, this represents a key milestone and a strong recognition from Consumer Technology Association (CTA), one the main technological-related instance globally.
“Taking a different approach to how information is displayed in the cockpit, AGC’s business unit FeelInGlass® has developed a free-standing reflective panel that can be used as a projection surface. This can be flexibly integrated into the dashboard, independently of the windscreen. This alternative to conventional HUD avoids costs incurred by the custom projection optimized for the windscreen. With an ultra-thin, fully chemically tempered glass panel just less than 1 mm thick, the module offers maximum stiffness with minimum material thickness. A specially developed manufacturing process in which the glass is precisely framed in-mold with plastic creates a seamless appearance with a flush edge finish. The result is an aesthetically pleasing design blending the best of the HUD and display worlds, creating a non-conventional integration of panoramic HUD for a differentiated UX both for driver and passengers.”
